Budget Wireless, Inc. has opened an office in Greeneville at 562 Tusculum Blvd., across from the Auto Zone store.
Budget Wireless says it plans also to open similar stores in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol and Morristown.
Jessica Gerace, owner of all five of those franchises, said Budget Wireless is "one of the fastest- growing cell phone services provided in the industry, and is adding about 300,000 new customers a month."
She added, "Customers can get unlimited minutes, unlimited text, and 20 megabytes of data use for the low price of $39.95 per month."
The privately owned company is based in Nashville.
The Greeneville store's hours are daily except Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
